Visitors to Wonder Valley do not need to be part of a large group, event or gathering, as our facility also welcomes individuals wishing to take a break from life with a wonderful Leisure Traveler Getaway.
We have 10 "themed" cottages (shown below), all with front decks, suitable for 1-2 guests or a romantic couple. For families we have very spacious rooms with double sinks, walk-in closets and the ability to configure the beds in a variety of ways. Your stay always includes the use of our recreational facilities including boating and fishing on Dalton Pond, swimming pools, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a Games pavilion with ping pong, pool tables, air hockey and foosball, trampoline center, horseshoe pits and children’s playground. Available with advanced notice and an additional fee are guided horseback trail rides, paintball, archery, Ropes Challenge Course, waterslides, professional massage therapy and nearby golfing at Sherwood Golf Club.
Stay at Wonder Valley and as part of your package enjoy a "Hearty Country Continental" breakfast, served either in our beautiful Lakeshore Lodge or in one of our other more intimate dining rooms. Other meals are available with 24 hour notice.
FROM FRESNO/CLOVIS
From Freeway 41 north or south, take Freeway 180 east through Fresno until the freeway dead-ends into Clovis Ave. Right on Clovis and then immediately left on Belmont Ave. Follow Belmont east to Piedra Rd. - Right on Piedra (over the bridge crossing the Kings River) 1/2 mile to Elwood Rd. - Left on Elwood 5 miles into Wonder Valley. - Left at "Wonder Valley Ranch Resort" sign through main gates, which automatically open as you get close. - Go to main two-story house.
FROM THE FRESNO AIR TERMINAL
Exit the Terminal parking areas onto the main frontage road that borders the airport. Go left out of all parking areas and follow that road until it curves and becomes Peach Ave. Go one mile south on Peach, and then left on Belmont Ave. Follow Belmont 23 miles east to Piedra Rd. - Right on Piedra (over the bridge crossing the Kings River) 1/2 mile to Elwood Rd. - Left on Elwood 5 miles into Wonder Valley. - Left at "Wonder Valley Ranch Resort" sign through main gates, which automatically open as you get close. - Go to main two-story house.
FROM THE NORTH
From the north, take Freeway 99 south to the Freeway 180 - Kings Canyon exit. From the south, take Freeway 99 north to Freeway 198 east exit - Go 1/4 mile right (east) to Plaza Park Dr. (also called J19-Dinuba/Alta Ave.) - Go 23 miles north through Dinuba to Adams Ave. - Turn left 3 miles to Frankwood Rd. - Turn right and go 9 miles to Piedra Rd. - Turn right and go 5 miles to Elwood Rd. - Turn right and go 5 miles - Left at "Wonder Valley Ranch Resort" sign through main gates, which automatically open as you get close. - Go to main two-story house.
