Visalia provides visitors and residents with many public transportation options. The hub of all these services is its attractive and centrally-located Transit Center in downtown. Generous parking nearby facilitates easy park 'n ride transportation to outlying shopping malls, businesses and attractions
The transit center serves passengers for the City Coach Service that circulates to in-town business and shopping areas; the Tulare County Area Transit system which serves outlying cities and hamlets; and bus service to the Amtrak station in Hanford is available.
The Visalia Towne Trolley provides free downtown shuttle service from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday; and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Towne Trolley's includes the Transit Center, the Courthouse, hotels and convention center, arriving at each stop every 15 minutes.559-713-4950.
SEQUOIA SHUTTLE
Maximize your visit to Sequoia National Park and leave your car behind while you enjoy destinations throughout the Giant Forest including Giant Forest Museum, Sherman Tree, Moro Rock, Lodgepole Visitor Center and Campground, Crescent Meadow, and Wuksachi Lodge.
Operating Memorial through Labor Day weekend, the Sequoia Shuttle travels from locations throughout Visalia, stops in Three Rivers, and continues to the Giant Forest Museum where it connects to two free in-Park shuttle routes that travel throughout the Giant Forest.
