Jogging
St. Johns River Parkway
From Highway 198, Exit at Ben Maddox Way and loop around so that you're heading north. Continue for 1.5 miles and turn right at well-marked St. John's Parkway. Take the first left, Gowdy, and follow it around a slight curve that leads to a dead-end with a big yellow END sign posted on the wooden fence. Through the gated opening you'll see an asphalt path leading up to the riverbank. |
Mill Creek Garden Park
From Highway 198. Exit at Ben Maddox Way and follow the exit loop to Ben Maddox Way north. Just after you cross the freeway, take an immediate right onto Mineral King Avenue. Follow Mineral King for four blocks east, and turn left at Lovers Lane. One block up, you'll cross Mill Creek and see the sign for Mill Creek Garden Park on the right. Turn right here, and park in the small lot on the right, marked by the sign "Allergy Free Demonstration Garden." The trail begins at the end of this lot.

Country Club and County Center
From Highway 198, take the Mooney Blvd. exit going north. West Main turns quickly to the right to parallel Highway 198, separated from the highway by narrow West Main Park and its protected oak trees. Park across from West Main Park in the large Elks Lodge lot, close to Main Street. |
Plaza Park
From Highway 198, Exit at
Plaza Drive, following the signs to Plaza Park, next to Visalia Municipal Airport. Park in the provided lot. You will be running on the marked bike lane of Plaza Drive.
