David Watte can personalize a farm tour for you and your family, company or attendees! David is very knowledgeable of local farms and other great attractions and restaurants. He has been organizing the tours for the World Ag Expo for years and love to show off Visalia, Tulare County and the surrounding areas.

For serious hunters, backpackers or extreme naturalists, we can provide spot trip packing service to get you and your gear deep into the back country. If you wish to have everything but the sleeping bag furnished, then our all-expense pack trips will be what youd want. When you wish for the packer to stay with you to care for the horses and mules, then our extended pack trips will be the way to go. And when you just want to jump up on a sure-footed, competent horse and see the back country in the most peaceful way imaginable, beginning to advanced riders will enjoy our half and full day rides.

At River Ridge you can ride a gentle, obedient and experienced trail horse on our level to easy-rolling pasture, follow our South River Trail, climb to First and Second Mesas, visit Frog Spring or take a half-day ride way up on Lumreau Mountain. The views from the top are spectacular and the deer and birds just dont seem to run away when youre on a horse! Mr. Tim Shew, owner and operator of Balch Park Pack Station, has over twenty years experience as a guide, packer and back country horseman. Tim and his string of 20 experienced horses can provide you and a friend or a group up to ten with the thrill of seeing the beautiful Sierra foothills from “up high”. Theres nothing quite like the feeling and view of the scenery you get when youre on horseback. Rates begin at $50 per person for a 2-hour ride. We provide everything. Just bring your smile.

Christy Wood is the owner-trainer of Wood N' Horse Training Stables, that is located in Three Rivers, California which is just below Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park.

Christy has hourly trail rides available .  She will take you out for a ride through the beautiful oak studded hills and along the Kaweah River.  She can accommodate up to 4 riders at a time.  Riders must be 12 and above unless they are an accomplished rider.  Please call for a reservation and pricing.
